# Virals: Liverpool reportedly ‘intensifying’ interest in Adam Hlozek

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/06/18/virals-james-pearce-confirms-double-liverpool-departure/) are believed to be ‘intensifying their interest’ in teenage Sparta Prague sensation [Adam Hlozek](https://readwestham.com/2021/01/06/west-ham-fans-delighted-adam-hlozek-transfer-links/).

The Reds aren’t the only club keen on the 18-year-old, with West Ham and AC Milan also [credited](https://www.footballinsider247.com/west-ham-liverpool-hlozek-moyes/) with holding an interest.

Hlozek, a wonderkid when making a [senior debut](https://sparta.cz/en/member/adam-hlozek-145/fullstats#:~:text=Adam%20Hlo%C5%BEek%20grew%20up%20in,in%20Czech%20cup%20in%20Poln%C3%A1.) aged just 16 years, 3 months and 16 days old, has risen to prominence over the last 12 months.

According to a report from [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-liverpool-bid-hlozek-strengthen/), as cited by [BeyondTheKop](https://twitter.com/KopBeyond/status/1405799907856896004) on Twitter, Jurgen Klopp could turn to the Czech starlet this summer.

The report claims any deal could cost between £15-20million.

Capped on [four occasions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/nationalmannschaft/spieler/552057/verein_id/3445) at senior level by the Czech Republic – including a [substitute appearance](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/nationalmannschaft/spieler/552057/hauptwettbewerb/EM/verein_id/3445) against Scotland on Monday afternoon – Hlozek is certainly performing above his fledgeling years.

[Hailed](https://www.goal.com/en/news/adam-hlozek-europes-biggest-clubs-sign-czech-teen/1stna4yfi0y9l1xn4ft91dn089) as a ‘world-class player’ in the making by agent Pavel Paska, the versatile forward [scored 15 times and registered eight assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/leistungsdaten/spieler/552057) in just 19 Fortuna Liga matches in 2020/21.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Signing an attacking option is a must this summer for Klopp as the German looks to improve the strength in depth within the Anfield [squad](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-team).

Clearly a talented player with plenty of potential for development, the coaching staff would relish the opportunity to work with another [hugely promising](https://en.soccerwiki.org/player.php?pid=100468) teenager.

Valued at £15.3million and under contract in the Czech capital until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/marktwertverlauf/spieler/552057)), the mooted price tag would represent shrewd business from the Reds.
