# Virals: Liverpool reportedly send scouts to watch Dusan Vlahovic

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/08/virals-trent-alexander-arnold-produces-moment-of-quality/) reportedly sent scouts to watch Fiorentina striker [Dusan Vlahovic](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/05/virals-fiorentina-place-69m-price-tag-on-liverpool-target-dusan-vlahovic/) over the weekend.

The Reds were one of a number of club’s believed to have officials in attendance as the 21-year-old Serb [lined up](https://www.90min.com/posts/juventus-1-0-fiorentina-player-ratings-2021-22) against Juventus.

Representatives from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United were also reported to be in attendance as the centre-forward [played](https://www.sofascore.com/player/dusan-vlahovic/832208) all 90 minutes.

That’s according to [Calciomercato.it](https://www.calciomercato.it/2021/11/06/calciomercato-juventus-vlahovic-fiorentina-tottenham-conte-paratici-allegri-manchester-united-liverpool-newcastle/), as cited by [Liverpool FC News](https://twitter.com/LivEchoLFC) on Twitter.

The report also states that whilst it ‘cannot be ruled out’ Liverpool were [keeping an eye](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/liverpool-transfer-news-chiesa-latest-25220564) on Juventus ace Federico Chiesa, Vlahovic is said to be the focus of attention.

Capped on [12 occasions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dusan-vlahovic/nationalmannschaft/spieler/357498/verein_id/3438) by Serbia, the towering frontman, tipped to be the [‘best striker](https://football-italia.net/jovetic-considers-serie-a-return/)‘ over the next few years, has [scored 10 times in 13 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dusan-vlahovic/leistungsdaten/spieler/357498) across all competitions.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

It would appear that the secondary [race next summer](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-city-transfers-haaland-nkunku-21760091) behind the one for Erling Haaland could be for Vlahovic.

Given the [eye-watering finances](https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/transfers/2021-2022/erling-haaland-demands-30m-per-year-wages-as-manchester-united-real-madrid-and-chelsea-prepare-bids-_sto8595215/story.shtml) involved in prizing the Norwegian out of Borussia Dortmund, Jurgen Klopp would be wise to switch attention to Florence.

Valued at £45million and under contract until 2023 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dusan-vlahovic/leistungsdaten/spieler/357498)), signing the Serb would appear to be a far more attainable target and one with almost equal levels of potential.
