# Virals: Liverpool reportedly ‘show serious interest’ in Karim Adeyemi

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/25/virals-mohamed-salah-becomes-highest-african-epl-goalscorer/) are one the elite European clubs to ‘show serious interest’ in Red Bull Salzburg forward [Karim Adeyemi](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/20/virals-liverpool-have-their-eyes-on-red-bull-salzburg-ace-karim-adeyemi/) according to fresh reports.

The 19-year-old is enjoying a [sublime start](https://www.sofascore.com/player/karim-adeyemi/940054) to the 2021/22 season and is attracting attention from around the continent.

Following yet another leading role in the Austrian side’s UEFA Champions League success, Adeyemi admitted it was an [‘honour’](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-interest-backed-reds-make-contact-impressive-signing-suits-klopp-well/) to be linked with the likes of the Anfield club.

The midweek goal and a brace against Sturm Graz this weekend took the teenager’s tally to [16 goal contributions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/leistungsdaten/spieler/496094) in 18 appearances.

Now a report from Austrian outlet [Laola1](https://www.laola1.at/de/red/fussball/bundesliga/news/christoph-freund---adeyemi-bleibt-bis-saisonende-bei-salzburg-/) has claimed that Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and the Reds have already shown their admiration.

The report [quotes](https://www.skysportaustria.at/salzburg-sportdirektor-freund-stellt-klar-adeyemi-wird-mit-uns-die-saison-fertig-spielen/) Salzburg sporting director, Christoph Freund, insisting that the three times capped Germany starlet won’t be sold in January.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Signing additional forwards as soon as January could be important for Jurgen Klopp’s side as the German prepares for [life without Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/liverpool-salah-mane-keita-afcon-b1943295.html) temporarily.

Capable of [playing across the frontline](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/496094), Adeyemi looks to be the ideal candidate to supplement the front three at Anfield with room to develop into a leading light.

Valued at £18million and under contract until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/marktwertverlauf/spieler/496094)), paying the mooted £25-33million would be a worthwhile piece of business.
