# Virals: Liverpool striker Divock Origi ‘on the radar’ of multiple clubs

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/08/16/virals-liverpool-pursuing-sensational-kylian-mbappe-deal/) striker [Divock Origi](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/08/10/west-ham-divock-origi-talks/) is reportedly ‘on the radar’ of a host of Premier League clubs in the final fortnight of the transfer window.

The 26-year-old is one of those in the Anfield squad considered to be [free to depart](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-transfer-news-shaqiri-origi-24669283) this summer should the right offer be forthcoming.

That offer could be imminent from one of Wolves, Crystal Palace or West Ham as the [transfer deadline day](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12257542/summer-transfer-window-2021-when-does-it-open-news-dates-and-deadline-day) approaches.

That’s according to a report from [The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2021/08/15/transfer-notebook-leeds-want-patrick-bamford-new-deal-ward-tottenham/), as cited by [Anfield Watch](https://twitter.com/AnfieldWatch/status/1427031103441879045) on Twitter.

Capped on [29 occasions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/divock-origi/nationalmannschaft/spieler/148368/verein_id/3382) by Belgium, Origi had looked to hold a bright future on Merseyside when signed for £10million from Lille in 2014 ([BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/28551650)).

Loan spells back at Lille and with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have followed, meanwhile, the Belgian has scored [35 goals in 157 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/divock-origi/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/148368) for the Reds.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

This simply has to be the summer Liverpool finally cash-in on Origi.

Often the man for the big occasion, the powerful forward only [managed one goal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/divock-origi/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/148368) in 17 outings last season – underlining the diminishing impact from the Champions League final hero.

An unused substitute over the weekend as Jurgen Klopp’s side overcame Norwich City, allowing the [£10.8million valued man](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/divock-origi/marktwertverlauf/spieler/148368) to leave for around the mooted £12million would surely allow the Reds to suitably restock the attacking department.
