# Virals: Liverpool target Jude Bellingham ‘more likely to stay’ in Germany

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/03/ian-wright-lavishes-praise-on-liverpool-star-mohamed-salah/) have once again been linked with a future move for Borussia Dortmund star [Jude Bellingham](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/02/virals-jude-bellingham-causes-twitter-stir-in-response-to-strong-links/).

The Reds are reportedly ‘keeping a close eye’ on the 18-year-old midfielder having witnessed [rapid development](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jude-bellingham/991011) for both club and country.

However, in spite of strong admiration from Merseyside, a fresh report from [SportBILD](https://sportbild.bild.de/), as cited by [LFC Transfer Room](https://twitter.com/LFCTransferRoom) on Twitter has claimed Bellingham is ‘not considering a move’ at this stage.

> 🥇· Jude Bellingham is currently not planning a move. And there is no agreement with [#Liverpool](https://twitter.com/hashtag/Liverpool?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw). He‘s very happy in [#Dortmund](https://twitter.com/hashtag/Dortmund?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) and knows about his excellent sporting perspective. He's more likely to stay for a third season than leave the club next summer.\

This season Bellingham has continued to flourish, [scoring three times and providing six assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jude-bellingham/leistungsdaten/spieler/581678) in 16 appearances across all competitions.

Elsewhere, another [report](https://sportbild.bild.de/) from the same outlet has stated that director of football, Michael Edwards, is now the ‘hot candidate’ to take up the post at RB Leipzig.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Signing Bellingham should be a priority for any [elite club](https://footballdatabase.com/ranking/europe/1) worth their salt in Europe.

Already a [top performer](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jude-bellingham/991011) in the Bundesliga, the teenage sensation looks ready to grace any midfield for the next decade at least.

Valued at £63million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jude-bellingham/marktwertverlauf/spieler/581678)), even paying the mooted £101million asking price should be considered a bargain when you take into account the starlet’s age, ability and likely longevity.

Liverpool will hope that contrary to reports, Edwards [remains in the driving seat](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jurgen-klopp-liverpool-michael-edwards-21868345) of recruitment for this capture and many more to come…
