# Virals: Liverpool target Luis Diaz ‘resists’ EPL offer in favour of Anfield

Widely reported [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/01/26/virals-liverpool-in-contact-with-juventus-star-paulo-dybala/) target [Luis Diaz](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/01/19/virals-liverpool-lead-the-race-for-fc-porto-star-luis-diaz/) will ‘resist’ a move to Tottenham in January in favour of a future move to Anfield.

That’s according to a report from Portuguese newspaper [Record](https://record.xl.pt/) (via [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/player-keen-sign-liverpool-competition-thinks-reds-another-level-resists-move-tottenham-january/)), claiming that the FC Porto winger will wait until the summer before moving on.

This angle is replicated by numerous outlets with local Porto newspaper[O Jogo](https://ojogo.pt/) suggesting that the 25-year-old is not ‘very interested’ in the prospect of a move to Spurs.
