# Virals: Liverpool target Paulo Dybala ‘ready’ to leave Juventus

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/18/virals-liverpool-hold-great-wish-for-lille-striker-jonathan-david/)have been handed a potential boost in any summer pursuit of Juventus forward [Paulo Dybala](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/02/04/virals-liverpool-closely-following-juventus-star-paulo-dybala/).

The 28-year-old is [out of contract](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/profil/spieler/206050) at the end of the season but had previously been expected to sign a new deal.

However, it would appear that the parties are further apart than ever and the dazzling Argentinian is facing the prospect of moving on as a free agent having been [linked](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/paulo-dybala-liverpool-transfer-move-22888054) to the Reds recently.

That’s according to a report from Italian newspaper [La Gazzetta dello Sport](https://www.gazzetta.it/), as cited on Twitter by [Football Transfers](https://twitter.com/Transferzone00).

It’s claimed that the Serie A giants are ‘not worried’ about the prospect of losing the [32-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/nationalmannschaft/spieler/206050/verein_id/3437) ace.

So far this season Dybala – once [hailed](https://www.sportmob.com/en/news/23680-legends-praise-special-dybala) as ‘special’ by Michael Laudrup – has [scored 12 times and provided six assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/leistungsdaten/spieler/206050) in 28 appearances across all competitions.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Whilst the contract expiry of the [£36million valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/marktwertverlauf/spieler/206050) star and Liverpool’s interest aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive, signing a high-calibre operator without a fee would be a superb capture.

Boasting a trophy-laden career already as well as a [wide range](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/114863/Show/Paulo-Dybala) of outstanding attacking attributes, Dybala would be a worthwhile addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

Capable of playing [across the frontline](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/206050) and as a second striker, the Argentine would supplement Roberto Firmino brilliantly at Anfield and should be a top target as a free agent.
