# Virals: Liverpool target Yves Bissouma ‘set to leave’ EPL club

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/25/virals-liverpool-evaluating-move-for-jeremy-doku/) have reportedly ‘watched’ Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder [Yves Bissouma](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/01/10/virals-liverpool-target-yves-bissouma-gets-50million-price-tag/).

The Reds have been [widely linked](https://theathletic.com/3058282/2022/01/09/brighton-are-aware-of-interest-in-yves-bissouma-but-will-demand-50m-to-sell-him-this-month/) with the 25-year-old previously and have once again been named among the potential suitors.

As [interest](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12511117/yves-bissouma-aston-villa-interested-in-brighton-midfielder-as-he-enters-final-18-months-of-contract#:~:text=Aston%20Villa%20are%20interested%20in%20Brighton%20midfielder%20Yves%20Bissouma%20as,Sunday%20%2D%20live%20on%20Sky%20Sports.) grows, Bissouma is believed to be ready to move on from the south coast club at the end of this season.

That’s according to a report from [90min](https://www.90min.com/posts/yves-bissouma-tells-brighton-wants-leave-club-this-summer-transfer), as cited by [Graeme Bailey](https://twitter.com/GraemeBailey/status/1507079881607294983) on Twitter.

The report claims that the Reds, alongside Aston Villa, Arsenal, Manchester United, Leicester City and Newcastle United are also keen on the [18-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yves-bissouma/nationalmannschaft/spieler/410425/verein_id/3674) Mali ace.

Interesting, AS Monaco are also named as suitors as they prepare for life after another Liverpool [target](https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/liverpool-report-aurelien-tchouameni-monaco-favours-reds-over-real-madrid-premier-league-champions-league-reds-transfers-signings-gossip-rumours-lfc), Aurelien Tchouameni, who is described as being ‘likely’ to move this summer.

So far this season Bissouma has earned an impressive [7.06 average Sofascore rating](https://www.sofascore.com/player/yves-bissouma/844842) from 20 Premier League outings.

Valued at £22.5million and set to enter the final 12 months of a deal at the AMEX ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yves-bissouma/marktwertverlauf/spieler/410425)), signing the Malian powerhouse this summer would be a wholly achievable financial venture.

Boasting [strong](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/303096/Show/Yves-Bissouma) defensive and attacking attributes, Bissouma has all the qualities required to fit into Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

Equally adept in a [defensive role](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yves-bissouma/leistungsdaten/spieler/410425) as well as advanced positions, the former Lille star would be a superb addition to the Anfield ranks.
