# Virals: Liverpool tipped to enter ‘auction’ for Gleison Bremer

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/15/virals-la-liga-manager-wants-liverpool-superstar-mohamed-salah/) have been tipped to play a part in the auction to sign Torino central defender [Gleison Bremer](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/13/virals-liverpool-in-first-place-to-sign-torino-defender-bremer/).

The 24-year-old ace has been heavily [linked with a move away](https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2022/3/11/22970821/bayern-munich-gleison-bremer-transfer-rumors-inter-milan-niklas-sule-replacement-fabrizio-romano) from the Serie A club in recent months and could be at the centre of a bidding war in the summer.

European [royalty](https://www.topendsports.com/sport/soccer/list-league-uefa.htm) Bayern Munich, Juventus and Inter Milan are all keen whilst Tottenham are also keen on the Brazilian.

According to a report from [Tutto Mercato Web](https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/serie-a/l-inter-cerca-l-accelerata-per-bremer-la-strategia-nerazzurra-per-il-grande-colpo-in-estate-1658280), as cited by [TEAMtalk](https://twitter.com/TEAMtalk/status/1503710625251352578) on Twitter, the Reds are certainly in contention.

So far this season Bremer – [described](https://www.tuttosport.com/news/calcio/serie-a/torino/2021/11/03-86789207/i_due_primi_posti_del_toro) as ‘the best defender in all of Serie A’ by Tuttosport – has [scored three times and registered one assist](https://www.transfermarkt.com/bremer/leistungsdaten/spieler/516716) in 26 league outings.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £27million and under contract in Italy until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bremer/marktwertverlauf/spieler/516716)), signing the ace for the mooted £25.2million ‘fixed price’ would represent smart value for money.

Whilst it remains to be seen what the club decides on Joe Gomez, the Englishman’s [future is certainly in question](https://the72.co.uk/266320/fulham-among-sides-linked-with-liverpools-joe-gomez/) having fallen down the pecking order this term.

Bremer has the quality and the [attributes](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/339875/Show/Bremer) to act as an immediate replacement with the costs likely being covered by any departure.
