# Virals: Liverpool ‘weigh up’ move for Sparta Prague starlet Adam Hlozek

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/07/22/virals-jurgen-klopp-shares-moment-with-ben-davies-ahead-of-debut/) are reportedly lining up a move for Sparta Prague teenage striker [Adam Hlozek](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/06/18/virals-liverpool-reportedly-intensifying-interest-in-adam-hlozek/).

The 18-year-old has seemingly [been on the Reds’ radar](https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-liverpool-set-sights-on-signing-sparta-prague-sensation-hlozek/) for some time and the club could be weighing up a move during this summer window.

Jurgen Klopp’s side could [face competition](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/west-ham-set-to-turn-attention-from-one-czech-talent-to-another) from West Ham and AC Milan to land the youngster as the German looks to bolster the ranks at Anfield.

This is according to a report from [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-liverpool-set-sights-on-signing-hlozek-after-transfer-mission/), as cited by [Anfield Effect](https://twitter.com/AnfieldEffect/status/1418110970409455618) on Twitter, claiming a bid could be forthcoming after another scouting trip.

The report claims that the [seven times capped Czech Republic international](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/nationalmannschaft/spieler/552057/verein_id/3445) was ‘assessed’ by Anfield staff during a [Champions League qualifier](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/leistungsdaten/spieler/552057) against Rapid Vienna on Tuesday night.

Hlozek appeared [four times in the European Championships](https://www.sofascore.com/player/adam-hlozek/963801) following an impressive domestic 2020/21 campaign.

Despite only featuring on 19 occasions for Sparta, the ace [described](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek-europe-rsquo-s-u-17-regular-and-dribbler-under-the-watchful-eyes-of-rosicky/view/news/349835) as a ‘huge talent’ by compatriot Tomas Rosicky ended last season [top of the Fortuna Liga goalscoring charts](https://www.transfermarkt.com/fortuna-liga/torschuetzenliste/wettbewerb/TS1/saison_id/2020) with 15 strikes.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £15.3million and under contract until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/marktwertverlauf/spieler/552057)), it’s expected it will take bids in the region of £15-20million to prize Hlozek out of Prague.

For that money, Liverpool would be signing a player with immense potential and someone already [capable of stepping up](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/552057) to the first-team when necessary.

Not only an out and out central forward, but the Czech teenager also [operates on both wings](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/profil/spieler/552057) and therefore would provide additional options to Klopp.

As Liverpool [begin to clear squad players](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2021/07/20/liverpool-bank-17m-sale-marko-grujic-taiwo-awoniyi/#:~:text=Awoniyi%2C%2023%2C%20was%20signed%20in,of%20%C2%A36m%20on%20him.) from their books and bring in funds in the process, at the mooted asking price and with the [world at this feet](https://www.90min.com/posts/introducing-our-21-sparta-prague-czech-republic-adam-hlozek), this deal is surely a no-brainer for the Reds.
