# Virals: Liverpool would sign Karim Adeyemi ‘immediately’ for £33.2m

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/08/opinion-jurgen-klopp-should-reunite-irresistible-attacking-trio-for-ucl-clash/) would reportedly sign Red Bull Salzburg forward [Karim Adeyemi](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/07/virals-negotiations-for-liverpool-target-karim-adeyemi-falter/) ‘immediately’ at the right price.

The 20-year-old has been [extensively linked](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/karim-adeyemi-liverpool-major-transfer-22223527) with the Reds previously but had been expected to join Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

However, those negotiations are [believed to have stalled](https://www.ruhrnachrichten.de/bvb/bvb-bei-haaland-zur-tatenlosigkeit-verdammt-adeyemi-gespraeche-stocken-w1731743-p-2000468776/) and the Anfield club, as well as Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig, could be in the mix once again.

That’s according to [Sky Sports Germany journalist Marc Behrenbeck](https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/transfer-news-kane-haaland-adeyemi-im-fokus-das-ist-der-stand/12560282/34130), as cited by [Sport Witness](https://twitter.com/Sport_Witness/status/1501168389347328000) on Twitter.

Behrenbeck claims that Liverpool could be ‘sensing their chance’ to sign the [three-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/nationalmannschaft/spieler/496094/verein_id/3262) Germany starlet.

So far this season Adeyemi – billed as the [‘perfect’](https://www.footballinsider247.com/liverpool-could-seal-perfect-adeyemi-signing-after-romano-latest-pundit/) addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side by Kevin Campbell – has [scored 19 times and registered four assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/leistungsdaten/spieler/496094) in 33 appearances across all competitions.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £31.5million and under contract in Austria until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/marktwertverlauf/spieler/496094)), signing the exciting youngster for the mooted €40million (£33.2million) would be a bargain.

Already a [proven goalscorer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/496094) on the European stage, Adeyemi’s ability to play as a central striker and on either wing would make the German a superb addition to Klopp’s ranks.

At the suggested price, with the [futures of Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/roberto-firmino-liverpool-transfer-cascarino-22621850) in doubt, Liverpool should be all over this potential deal.
