In the [final 12 months of a deal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ben-woodburn/profil/spieler/344015) on Merseyside, this truly is a make or break transfer decision that must be made this summer.

Having made a bright start to a promising Liverpool career, Woodburn has failed to kick on prior to some [impressive showings](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/440342-osasuna-anfield-friendly-match-report) during this pre-season.

Valued at £1.8million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ben-woodburn/marktwertverlauf/spieler/344015)), any sale wouldn’t boost the budget excessively and the club may choose to persevere with a talented individual.
