# Virals: Mino Raiola reportedly offers Paul Pogba to Liverpool

Football agent Mino Raiola has reportedly made an audacious attempt to offer Manchester United midfielder [Paul Pogba](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/01/11/solskjaer-hopeful-trio-will-be-fit-for-man-uniteds-clash-with-liverpool/) to [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/07/29/virals-liverpool-reject-napoli-loan-approach-for-kostas-tsimikas/) this summer.

The Frenchman looks to have an uncertain future at Old Trafford as Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain [look to prise the 28-year-old away](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/12364615/paul-pogba-paris-saint-germain-expected-to-make-interest-in-man-utd-midfielder-formal-in-near-future) from Manchester.

But, as Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp also searches for a midfield option after [Gini Wijnaldum headed to Paris](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11820/12189637/georginio-wijnaldum-paris-saint-germain-sign-midfielder-on-free-transfer-from-liverpool) at the start of the transfer window, Pogba may have come up in conversation.

That’s according to a report from [Le10Sport](https://le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-psg-pogba-propose-a-liverpool-560450/amp?__twitter_impression=true), as cited by [Football Transfers](https://twitter.com/Transferzone00/status/1420684793524543488) on Twitter.

In what has been described as a ‘daring attempt’ to pair the [84 times capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paul-pogba/nationalmannschaft/spieler/122153/verein_id/3377) star with Liverpool, the report claims that the agent suggested a deal was a ‘possibility’.

The Reds are believed to have suggested a move would perhaps be more feasible in January when Pogba [enters the final 12 months](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paul-pogba/profil/spieler/122153) of a deal.

Last season the [World Cup-winning](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paul-pogba/erfolge/spieler/122153) Frenchman [scored six and registered 10 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paul-pogba/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/122153) from 42 appearances in all competitions.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £54million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paul-pogba/marktwertverlauf/spieler/122153)) and based on ability alone there is no doubt Klopp would relish the opportunity to work with a player like Pogba.

However, when you consider the finances, rivalry and the fact a [57 year wait](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12235712/phil-chisnall-last-player-to-transfer-between-manchester-united-and-liverpool-dies-aged-78) for a transfer between the arch-rivals would have to be broken – this is a deal without legs for this summer.

Whilst national team Pogba – a player [hailed](https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/paul-pogba-is-the-complete-midfielder-says-deschamps-france-v-switzerland-euro-2020) as the ‘complete midfielder’ by manager Didier Deschamps – would be a superb acquisition, there’s little chance the Frenchman will become the next Phil Chisnall

Perhaps more realisitically the same [report](https://le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-psg-pogba-propose-a-liverpool-560450/amp?__twitter_impression=true) claims Liverpool are also interested in Rennes’ starlet Eduardo Camavinga and Lyon ace Houssem Aouar.
