# Virals: Serie A club eye ‘dream’ Mohamed Salah swoop

Juventus could reportedly eye a ‘dream’ move for [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/22/virals-liverpool-placed-in-the-lead-in-aurelien-tchouameni-pursuit/) forward [Mohamed Salah](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/16/virals-jurgen-klopp-confirms-mohamed-salah-is-ready-ahead-of-epl-clash/).

The Serie A giants see the 29-year-old as the ideal candidate to replace Paulo Dybala – who is [set to leave](https://www.juvefc.com/dybala-will-leave-juventus-romano-claims-entourage-to-open-talks-with-suitors/#:~:text=Dybala%20will%20leave%20Juventus%20as,open%20talks%20with%20other%20clubs.) the club as a free agent this summer.

Amidst ongoing contract talks with the Reds, Salah would appear to be [no closer](https://www.teamtalk.com/liverpool/worrying-mohamed-salah-contract-update-explains-why-fsg-stance-may-accelerate-liverpool-sale) to committing to Anfield beyond a current 2023 deal.

According to a report from [Corriere della Sera](https://www.corriere.it/sport/calcio/serie-a/22_marzo_22/dybala-juventus-retroscena-dell-addio-ruolo-vlahovic-calcoli-societa-cosa-c-dietro-f6a2b1a8-a95b-11ec-8325-fd7a7d1851e8.shtml?refresh_ce), as cited by [footballitalia](https://twitter.com/footballitalia/status/1506209723883966470) on Twitter, Juve could eye the Egyptian.

The report claims that a move for the [80-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mohamed-salah/nationalmannschaft/spieler/148455/verein_id/3672) ace is ‘forbidden for now’ but the Turin-based outfit may look to use the money saved from Dybala to swoop.

So far this season Salah has scored a remarkable [28 times and provided 10 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mohamed-salah/leistungsdaten/spieler/148455) in 36 appearances across all competitions.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £90million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mohamed-salah/marktwertverlauf/spieler/148455)), Liverpool would undoubtedly hold out for a huge fee this summer despite the dwindling contract.

However, as things stand there is a very real possibility that Salah [will be sold at the end of the season](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/liverpool-told-sell-mohamed-salah-now-unleash-two-klopp-favourites) should no new deal be forthcoming between now and then to avoid losing the superstar for nothing.

Juventus are one of the [few clubs in Europe](https://www2.deloitte.com/uk/en/pages/sports-business-group/articles/deloitte-football-money-league-2021.html) who could likely afford the Egyptian and as such the interest could well lead to something more concrete.

Dybala himself has previously been [linked](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/paulo-dybala-liverpool-transfer-move-22888054) with a move to Merseyside and the 28-year-old could potentially arrive as an immediate replacement of sorts without a transfer fee.
