# Virals: Trent Alexander-Arnold produces moment of ‘quality’

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/08/pundit-slams-liverpool-star-for-big-mistake-in-epl-defeat/) endured a rare off-day against West Ham on Sunday as the Reds tasted defeat for the first time in 2021/22.

Jurgen Klopp’s side [struggled to deal with the Hammers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXMcDNrHFmM) from set-pieces and ultimately were left wanting at the London Stadium.

However, there was one moment of hope in an otherwise disappointing showing as [Trent Alexander-Arnold](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/04/pundit-in-awe-of-trent-alexander-arnold-display-against-atletico-madrid/) fired the visitors level.

Shortly before half-time with Klopp’s men trailing, the 23-year-old struck a [pinpoint free-kick](https://twitter.com/SkySportsPL/status/1457396598716178433?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1457396598716178433%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.90min.com%2Fposts%2Ftrent-alexander-arnold-the-good-the-bad-the-exquisite) to drag the Reds back into the contest.

Despite an apparent shaky defensive display across the board, Alexander-Arnold earned an [8.50 Sofascore rating](https://www.sofascore.com/player/trent-alexander-arnold/795064) in a performance that included one goal, one assist, one clearance and four interceptions.

Theis goal may never receive the acclaim it deserves due to tot the result, but it was a moment of the highest quality.

Perhaps found wanting defensively too often in east London, the [£67.5million valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/trent-alexander-arnold/marktwertverlauf/spieler/314353) star proved his worth in an attacking sense all over again.

Still just 23, Alexander-Arnold is an integral part of Klopp’s side right now and for the future and although improvements can be made, is already nigh on the [complete](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/318871/Show/Trent-Alexander-Arnold) attacking full-back.
