# Virals: Wolves reportedly ‘tempted’ to sell Liverpool target Pedro Neto

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/07/22/otd-liverpool-lifted-the-premier-league-for-the-first-time-in-30-years/) could be handed a boost in their summer recruitment plans as Wolves are reportedly ‘tempted’ to part ways with [Pedro Neto](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/05/07/carragher-coady-pedro-neto-move/).

The Portuguese star is [currently out injured](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/players-missing-pedro-neto-update-20981377) having missed the end of the 2020/21 campaign with a knee problem.

Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp is attempting to [bolster the ranks at Anfield](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-team) this summer in order to challenge once again next season.

According to a report from [90min](https://www.90min.com/posts/wolves-transfer-pedro-neto-liverpool-tottenham-interest), as cited by [Sean Walsh](https://twitter.com/SeanDZWalsh/status/1418153208900427781) on Twitter, the Midlands club are considering parting ways with the 21-year-old forward.

The same report outlines the Reds as potential suitors alongside Tottenham and Juventus, whilst also claiming [two previous Anfield targets](https://talksport.com/football/716735/liverpool-110m-adama-traore-ruben-neves-wolves/) Ruben Neves and Adama Traore are ‘pushing for moves’ away from Molineux.

Prior to picking up the season-ending injury, Neto had [scored five goals and assisted six others](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pedro-neto/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/487465) in 31 Premier League outings.

[Hailed](https://www.premierleague.com/news/2031719) as a ‘huge talent’ by Alan Shearer, the [three-times capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pedro-neto/nationalmannschaft/spieler/487465/verein_id/3300) Portugal man arrived at Wolves from Lazio in 2019.

Valued at £31.5million and under contract until 2025 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pedro-neto/marktwertverlauf/spieler/487465)), unsurprisingly the same report suggests it would take a ‘huge offer’ to land Neto this summer.

Whilst Liverpool [aren’t exactly in the market](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-can-raise-80m-selling-20697081) for making huge offers, given the quality and potential on offer, signing the Portuguese ace would be a remarkable piece of business.

Shades of the deal that saw Diogo Jota make the same move last year, Klopp will no doubt have the [versatile ace](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pedro-neto/leistungsdaten/spieler/487465) under serious assessment.

Perhaps more intriguing at this particular juncture is Traore’s desire to leave – with the [Reds known admirers](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jurgen-klopp-adama-traore-liverpool-20186548) and a potentially cheaper option – something could be done there.
