# Wijnaldum expecting a huge challenge against United

Gini Wijnaldum is expecting a major test when Liverpool visit rivals Manchester United this weekend.

In what remains the biggest fixture in English football, the Reds and the Red Devils do battle on Sunday afternoon.

It is an enormous game in the Premier League race, with victory for Jurgen Klopp’s side taking them three points clear of Manchester City.

United have been reborn since Jose Mourinho was replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and they are now a very different proposition to when Liverpool beat them 3-1 at Anfield in December – Mourinho’s final match in charge.

> I think it is going to be a real big change. Since the new manager came in there is a new flow.

> They played good games and have won a lot and that is building confidence in the team.

> It’s also a home game for them so they will have a lot of confidence as they don’t have the problems they had before.

> It is going to be a difficult game but I’m looking forward to it.

It promises to be a memorable occasion in Manchester, with drama never too far away in this fixture.

Liverpool are searching for their first win at Old Trafford since 2014, and only their second there this decade.

Wijnaldum has been one of his side’s best players this season and his influence will be key.
