## What is the new reported price tag?

It has since been reported by French media outlet [L’Equipe](https://x.com/gffn/status/2081341638916317665?s=46&t=rLe6YXFjD9zFzopBvUMkdw) that’s PSG would consider offers of closer to €120m for the attacker. This would come in below the price that Liverpool forked out for Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz last summer.

## Barcola’s journey to €100m+ man

Born in Villeurbanne, Bradley Barcola developed through Olympique Lyonnais’ youth academy before making his senior debut in late 2021. His breakout came during the 2022-23 campaign, where his dynamic dribbling and directness yielded 7 goals and 9 assists across all competitions, forming a productive partnership with Alexandre Lacazette.

That meteoric rise prompted a €45 million move to Paris Saint-Germain in August 2023. In his debut season in Paris, Barcola quickly integrated into Luis Enrique’s setup, providing balance and pace on the left flank. He posted 5 goals and 8 assists in 39 appearances, earning Ligue 1’s Signing of the Season honors while securing a domestic double.

Following Kylian Mbappe’s departure in 2024, Barcola assumed an expanded role in attack. The 2024-25 season saw him hit new individual heights, registering 21 goals in 64 matches across all competitions. His sharp movement, one-on-one efficiency, and pressing rate became focal points of PSG’s frontline strategy.

On the international stage, Barcola earned his senior France debut in June 2024. He established himself as a regular fixture for *Les Bleus*, featuring at Euro 2024 and delivering key goal contributions during France’s 2026 World Cup run. Still only 23, Barcola has rapidly evolved from a promising academy talent into one of European football’s most dynamic wingers.
