Liverpool have been handed a huge injury blow ahead of their Europa League tie against Borussia Dortmund, according to the Liverpool Echo.
It’s not for their own side, however…
The German side look set to welcome back Mats Hummels, Sokratis and Ilkay Gundogan ahead of Thursday, as all three players rejoined training on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp will, of course, be hoping all three are not passed fit to play, but given they’re back in training two days prior to the game, there’s every chance they will be.

Gundogan has been absent longer term and he, along with both Hummels and Sokratis, missed Dortmund’s 3-2 win over Werder Bremen last weekend.
Sokratis had a stomach bug whereas Hummels was missing due to a calf strain.
The Reds travel to Germany with aspirations of reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League.
It’s widely thought that progression through the competition and going on to win the trophy is the club’s best chance of Champions League football next season
