After suffering defeat against Burnley at the weekend, Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways in the EFL Cup second round against Burton Albion.
Following on from a 2-0 loss against Sean Dyche’s men, the Reds will once again be on their travels away to the Pirelli Stadium.
Loris Karius is still out and Sadio Mané is not expected to be back until the weekend. With players getting back to full fitness and injury concerns decreasing, this match poses a good chance to rotate a couple players from Saturday’s game.
However following Jürgen Klopp’s pre-match press conference it is unlikely we’ll see a huge amount of changes to the starting line-up.
Against a newly promoted Championship side, the Reds will do well not to be complacent against their opposition – as such I think this will reflect in the line-up on Tuesday night.
