Liverpool played out a drab 0-0 draw against Southampton at St Mary’s, a far cry from their recent goalscoring form.
The team was without Adam Lallana who limped off for England against Spain last week, and struggled to reach the heights of recent games/
Despite bossing the game on all the statistical fronts, the Reds couldn’t break down Southampton and will have to hope for a Chelsea slip up against Middlesbrough in tomorrow’s late kick off in order to remain top of the table.
