George Antangana, the agent of Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie, has said that Liverpool are one of the clubs interested in signing his client this summer.
Speaking to Rai Sport, and as reported by the Liverpool Echo, Antangana said that the Reds are one of three Premier League clubs who could sign the midfielder this summer, although Serie A side Roma are apparently leading the race for his signature.
He said:
I must admit that Roma have the advantage for Kessie, but we haven’t closed a deal yet because there are other top clubs interested who continue calling me. There are many overseas clubs interested in him. Manchester City, where his friend Yaya Toure plays in the same role. Liverpool, where their manager Jurgen Klopp knows how to help young players develop. Then there’s Arsenal, whose manager is very close to French-speaking players.

Liverpool were linked with a move for the 20-year-old back in January but no deal got done and there was talk that Chelsea were also keen to sign him.
He has scored six goals and has four assists in Serie A this season and it looks certain that he’ll be moving in the summer, the only question is where will he be playing?
