Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, a reported target for Liverpool, will stay at the Emirates this summer, according to a report from John Cross of the Mirror.
Cross, who is with the Gunners in Australia, says that Arsenal are confident that they can get the England midfielder to agree to a new contract, however, even if they do not sign him to a new deal, the club are apparently comfortable letting him play into the final year on his existing contract.

It was widely reported that Arsenal could look to sell Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer rather than let him enter the final season of his current deal but it looks like the Gunners are willing to do exactly that.
Liverpool made an enquiry about Oxlade-Chamberlain’s availability earlier in the window but were told that he isn’t for sale and it looks like Arsenal, at least for the time being, are sticking to their word.
