Liverpool have already smashed their transfer record this summer with the £39m capture of Mohamed Salah from Roma but the Reds could break that record again this summer with £60m and £70m moves for Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk and RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita respectively.
If Liverpool complete deals for both those players, it would take their summer spending upwards of £170m this summer already, and purely on the basis of needing to balance the books, several players will need to leave the club.
But who are the likely candidates to depart from Anfield before the end of the transfer window?

Given the fact that Liverpool have added an exciting winger to the squad already, a number of wide players could make way either on loan or a permanent basis.
The likes of Sheyi Ojo, Ryan Kent and Harry Wilson are all being linked with moves away from Merseyside, with Ojo the most likely candidate to depart with Fulham, Middlesbrough and Newcastle all eager to sign the England U20 star, while a permanent sale has not been ruled out.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are also believed to be closing in on the signing of left-back Andrew Robertson from Hull, and make sure you take advantage of Bet365’s deposit bonus offer if you believe the Reds will sign the Scotsman.

Following Hull’s relegation to the Championship, Robertson has been heavily linked with a move away from the KCOM Stadium and it appears as if Liverpool will win that race.
With one left-back likely to arrive, another is set to depart with the Reds ready to move on from Alberto Moreno. Both Napoli and Swansea have been linked with the former Sevilla star but are reluctant to meet Liverpool’s £15m asking price of the attacker.
If Keita arrives, that gives Liverpool a lot of options in midfield and they simply cannot play everyone.

Kevin Stewart, very much an afterthought at Anfield these days, is likely to be offloaded when the right offer comes in, while Emre Can’s future is very much up in the air.
The German midfielder becomes a free agent next summer and is yet to agree terms to a new contract. With Juventus lurking, Liverpool may be forced to cash-in now on the former Bayern Munich man if they can’t agree a new contract.
Daniel Sturridge is also linked with a move away from Anfield, but it appears Liverpool will not enter the market for a big-name striker, meaning Sturridge’s place in the squad is safe for now, despite the arrival of Dominic Solanke.
