Liverpool target Naby Keita has been involved in a training ground incident as the £75m-rated Guinean midfielder committed a ‘brutal foul’ during RB Leipzig training which led to the session being called off, according to a report from Sport Witness.
The midfielder’s frustrations of not being allowed to join Liverpool seem to have boiled over as he left team-mate Diego Damme in pain.
The German Bundesliga side have rejected two offers from Premier League side Liverpool for the midfielder, one was £57m and the other a whopping £66m.

Although the player himself has told the club that he wishes to leave, they are adamant that they will not sell him this summer, no matter what Liverpool offer them.
And the tension of the transfer seemed to have got the better of the midfield man as he fouled Damme, who left the training pitch with his leg heavily bandaged.
German newspaper BILD claim that RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhüttl called off the training session immediately and ordered the squad to return to their hotel as they prepare for the new season in Austria.
Keita has been Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s main transfer target for several weeks and with Leipzig being stubborn about the player, the Reds may now consider other targets for now and move for Keita again next summer.
