The agent of long-time Liverpool target Julian Draxler says the player will remain at PSG this summer despite reports he is surplus to requirements.
Draxler, who has been on Liverpool’s radar for a number of years, joined the French giants from Wolfsburg in January and contributed four goals and two assist in 17 Ligue 1 appearances.
However, after the blockbuster signing of Neymar from Barcelona, the German will find first team opportunities hard to come by at the Parc des Princes.
Whilst the Reds could be encouraged by these developments, particularly given the alleged price tag of just £32million, agent Roger Wittmann has appeared to rule out a move.
“There has been no change, it is not a topic,” Wittmann told German television channel Sport 1.

“If somebody writes ‘I have this information from [PSG chairman] Nasser Al-Khelaifi,’ then I will consider it and call the president to speak about Julian’s situation.
“Once again, though, this is not the case. So, everything has been said.”
Liverpool remain on the lookout for a new midfielder after Adam Lallana was sidelined for three months by a thigh injury.
According to Paul Joyce of The Times, the Reds are pursuing alternatives for RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita.
