Stefan de Vrij, who has been linked with a move to Anfield, has spoken about a new Lazio contract.
The Dutch defender has reportedly been on Jurgen Klopp’s radar, as well as Juventus looking at the centre back.
The 25-year-old’s contract runs out in summer and within the next two months, he will be available for pre-contract agreement talks with other clubs.

Liverpool have reportedly been one of these clubs looking to sin him, as well as Juventus, but the Old Lady aren’t seeing de Vrij as their priority.
Klopp’s men have been heavily criticised for their defensive performances this season, and a new defender in January is what many professionals are saying should be the German manager’s main concern.
However, de Vrij has been saying about his contract situation at Lazio after their Europa League match with Nice (via Inside Futbol):
I hope to reach an agreement with the club and that everything goes according to my wishes.
He has been a Lazio star player and one of the first names of the sheet since he signed after his great performances as a really young defender at the 2014 World Cup for the Netherlands.
Liverpool really could do with a defender like de Vrij who could really sort out the defensive issues, but it all depends on if Lazio meet his demands before talks can begin.
