Liverpool will be without defender Joel Matip for their trip to Brighton this weekend.
The Liverpool Echo reports that the defender has suffered a new injury after missing games against Sevilla due to a thigh injury.

Speaking in his weekly press conference ahead of Saturday’s game, Klopp confirmed that the defender will be sidelined this weekend.
So it looks like Joel Matip is out, after the game he had a problem, felt something muscle wise. We have to make a final assessment but it doesn’t look like he’s ready for tomorrow.
It appeared that the defender had got the better of his injury concerns after he started games against Chelsea and Stoke.
Ragnar Klavan is likely to come back into the side alongside Croatian defender Dejan Lovren.
Liverpool will be hoping to take all three points on Saturday to keep the pressure on the top four. A win on Saturday could take the Reds within three points of Manchester United in second place, depending on other results.
Brighton themselves have enjoyed a strong start to life in the Premier League, winning four and drawing five of their opening 14 games.
