Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero has told the media that the Old Lady should try to sign Emre Can from Liverpool in January.
Can is out of contract at Anfield in the summer and is free to talk to clubs over a potential free transfer on a pre-contract agreement in the new year.
Juventus have been the club most heavily linked to the 23-year-old, but other clubs include fellow Italian giants Inter Milan and Premier League leaders, Manchester City.
Talking to Sky Sport Italia, as reported by The Mirror, Del Piero said:
Khedira is known to pick up minor knocks… Marchisio is coming back from injury be he’s still not at his best and Pjanic is not such a physical player.
Emre Can of Liverpool would be ideal, and he’s not even that expensive. He could be the big name for Juve in January.

The German international is playing well for the Reds this season, and has the big matter of a Merseyside derby this Sunday. However, whether he is still at Anfield by the summer of 2018 is yet to be seen, as talks over a new deal continue to stall.
