Liverpool are set to make an approach for Atletico Madrid’s fullback Sime Vrsaljko and they will try to bring him to Anfield in January, according to the Mirror.
The Croatian international is not getting regular game time in La Liga, featuring in only two of Atleti’s last ten games in all competitions.
However, he is a regular starter for the Croatian national team and he played all 180 minutes during their recent World Cup play-off win against Greece.

He is reportedly valued at around £22m, so it remains to be seen if Liverpool are willing to pay such a fee for him.
If he is signed, he would provide very strong competition for Nathaniel Clyne and upcoming youngsters Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez.
