Liverpool could do with another attacking midfielder having sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona earlier this month and the Reds are being linked with a move for one of the finest talents in the Championship.
The Daily Express, cited by TeamTalk, are reporting that Liverpool are the most likely side to push through a deal for Norwich midfielder James Maddison this month in a move which would see the midfielder complete a transfer in the summer.
Both Tottenham and Southampton have also been linked with a move for the 21-year-old following his breakthrough season with Norwich which has seen him net eight goals and provided eight assists in 29 appearances across all competitions so far.

Norwich have just seen Alex Pritchard leave for Huddersfield for £14m and are under no pressure to sell another star player this month, but Liverpool believe the England U21 international has a bright future in the game and are eager to seal a deal for the £12m-rated playmaker which would see him join at the end of the season.
