Liverpool have been strongly linked with making a big money move for a goalkeeper this month but as of yet, no approach has been made for Roma and Brazil star Alisson, according to the player’s agent.
Simon Mignolet’s future at the club is uncertain after Jurgen Klopp dropped the Belgian for Loris Karius after the turn of the year, but Karius himself hasn’t been able to establish himself as the No.1 at Anfield since arriving 18 months ago.

The Reds have been suggested as a potential suitor for Alisson this month who has also been targeted by PSG and Real Madrid, but the agent of the £44m-rated goalkeeper, Ze Maria Neis, says that Liverpool have not made contact to sign him just yet.
Joining a top club? It’s too early to say. When a player stands out on the pitch thanks to great performances, there is always a lot of talk. Personally speaking, no club has been in contact yet and he is 100% focused on doing well with Roma. He is happy to be in Rome, and the club is happy with him.
Klopp has spent £75m on Virgil van Dijk this month but the Dutchman cannot single-handedly solve Liverpool’s defensive issues and the goalkeeper position is one that needs to be addressed sooner or later.
