Jurgen Klopp says that striker Daniel Sturridge has been given no assurances about an increased amount of game time if he stays at the club this month, as reported by the Guardian.
Inter have shown a strong interest in the player with a loan deal offered which would cover his wages until the end of the season but the player would prefer a move to Spain in the shape of Sevilla.
The Reds are convinced that the striker’s future is either at Anfield or with the Italian giants but his first-team chances will not improve if he is to remain at the club until the end of the season.
The player has only featured nine times for the Reds in the Premier League this season, four of which came off the bench.

The Liverpool manager Klopp spoke about the player’s situation as the window draws towards a close.
I have never in my life promised a player game time for the next few months – it is not possible. When Daniel is fit, training and in shape he is still an outstanding striker, there is no doubt about that. But he did not play the last few weeks for different reasons.
He went onto talk about the other options which he has in his forward line this season.
One of them was of course Roberto Firmino’s performances, then Dom Solanke’s development. And Daniel has been in and out of training [through injury]. In general more in than out of training but the time he was in he was a little unlucky with games. That was the situation, not more.
