Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has jumped to the defence of Spanish defender Alberto Moreno, with the left-back still being widely criticised, as per the Mirror.
Moreno has been out of action since picking up an injury in December in the Champions League game against Spartak Moscow.
Andrew Robertson has stepped up brilliantly in his absence and it now looks tough for the Reds star to find a way back into the side on a regular basis.
Prior to his injury, Moreno had played in 21 games in all competitions for the club but his manager feels that the player has a strong chance of regaining his place in the team.

Moreno’s performances have divided opinions, with many describing his showings as unreliable and sloppy in some aspects.
Klopp feels that both of his left-backs will be vital to the side in the coming games and months.
The way people talk about Alberto Moreno, I hope it has settled a little bit but it was never fair, that’s just how it is.
If you see Alberto Moreno training, there’s nobody in the squad has a shadow of a doubt about him quality-wise.
He continued and went on to add.
He’s an unbelievably strong player and he didn’t deliver all the time, that’s true, but at the beginning of the season he was so strong for us.
There was one game where he dropped and everybody was saying it was exactly like it was before.
Obviously, life as a football player is not always fair, but in that time if we would have played Robbo instead of him – no chance to convince anybody, he was not ready for that.
