Keita confident he will excel under Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool seem to be getting better week on week and are set to boosted by the arrival of midfielder Naby Keita from the Bundesliga and the midfielder has admitted that he will succeed under Jurgen Klopp at the club according to Sport Witness.

Whilst the clubs only hope of a trophy this season lies with the Champions League which will be tough to achieve the general feeling around Anfield is that the club are moving in the right direction under Klopp.

Liverpool are still some way off from challenging Manchester City at the top of the Premier League but the arrival of Keita in the summer could help them significantly in this.

A deal was completed last summer to bring the player to the club this summer and he seems a real level-headed calm character just what they need at this stage.

The midfielder was asked about the move to Anfield and how Sadio Mane has influenced it:

I’m still a player at RB Leipzig and I’m only concentrating on that. Liverpool is in the summer, until then I still have goals with Leipzig.

I feel very good at the training centre. I do not feel stressed, sometimes I come three hours before training.

Keita went on to allude to the fact that he likes being punctual and is a hard-working individual, two qualities that Jurgen Klopp demands from his players. The 23-year-old believes he will fit Klopp’s system at Anfield and has full faith that he will excel at the club once he arrives in the summer.

Liverpool singled out Keita early on last summer as their future No.8 in midfield and the Guinea international has eight goals and five assists so far this season, despite making the headlines as a bit of a reckless player after receiving two red cards early on in the campaign.

With Emre Can expected to leave the club in the summer, with Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United all being linked with free transfer swoops for the German, Liverpool can be happy having already tied down Keita.
