Liverpool are believed to be among clubs looking to sign Benfica attacking midfielder Talisca in the summer, but now they face some fresh competition for his signature.
According to Calciomercato in Italy, Roma are now also interested in the Brazilian midfielder and are readying a summer bid.
Talisca has spent the last two seasons on loan with Turkish side Besiktas and has caught the eye in the Super Lig, netting 33 goals and 10 assists in 71 appearances for the club, including 16 goals and four assists in 38 games this current campaign.

Aware of interest in him, Besiktas have tried to sign Talisca outright, offering a deal worth €21m to the Liga NOS side, but Benfica have turned that down as they feel like they can get a better deal in the open market this summer.
The 24-year-old’s form has been recognised by Brazil manager Tite who handed Talisca his first international call-up since 2014, but he is yet to make his international debut.
Along with Liverpool and Roma, Manchester United are also said to be interested in signing the former Gremio standout.
