Liverpool have hit home-runs in the last two summer transfer windows when recruiting big-money wingers, with both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane exceeding expectations, and now the Reds are eyeing a move for another wide forward.
According to Spanish source Don Balon, Liverpool are monitoring Ousmane Dembele’s situation at Barcelona ahead of a potential summer bid for the Frenchman.
After completing a move to the Nou Camp worth a potential £110m last summer from Borussia Dortmund, Dembele has struggled for form and fitness this season, scoring just one goal in 16 appearances for Barcelona so far.

The 20-year-old’s poor form has seen reports emerge that he could be offloaded in the summer to fund another summer of lavish spending from the La Liga leaders, and Liverpool are the latest club to be linked with a move.
However, the Reds’ interest in the former Rennes standout is contingent on Mohamed Salah leaving the club, which in itself is highly unlikely, but Real Madrid are said to be interested in a move which would smash their transfer record.
Liverpool aren’t the only Premier League keeping tabs on Dembele as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all also been linked with a summer move.
