Liverpool will be in the market for a new goalkeeper in the summer and they have identified a cut-price alternative to Roma’s Alisson.
Spanish outlet Mi Otra Liga claim that the Reds are considering a surprise move for Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas after seemingly being priced out of a move for Alisson.
Roma are said to be demanding £70m for the Brazilian goalkeeper which would make him the most expensive shot-stopper in football history, but Liverpool have baulked at that asking price.

36-year-old Casillas joined Porto on a free transfer from Real Madrid in the summer of 2015 and is set to become a free agent once again in June when his contract with the Liga NOS side expires.
Still performing at a high level, Casillas has been singled out as an option for Liverpool this summer with both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet not deemed as viable long-term options between the sticks.
