Team news: Everton vs Liverpool

Liverpool can further cement their place in the top four this weekend by beating rivals Everton at Goodison Park.

The match is sandwiched between the Champions League quarter-final with Manchester City, in which Jurgen Klopp’s side hold a 3-0 advantage after the first leg.

With just a two-day turnaround between the Everton match and the second leg at the Etihad, there will have to be rotation in the side of Liverpool to make sure they remain fresh and ready to compete.

Everton will be desperate to get one over on their fiercest rivals and exploit the situation which Klopp’s side find themselves in to help cement their place inside the top half.

The two sides met earlier on in the season when they played out a 1-1 draw at Anfield as a Wayne Rooney penalty cancelled out a stunning first half strike from Mohamed Salah.
