When Liverpool went 2-0 up with about ten minutes remaining against West Brom, three points looked to be safe but goals from Jake Livermore and Salomon Rondon wanted West Brom a point on a frustrating day for the Reds.
With Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final with Roma in mind, Jurgen Klopp made five changes to the team who beat Bournemouth.
Joe Gomez, Danny Ings, Ragnar Klavan and Alberto Moreno got starts as Klopp looked to keep his squad fit and fresh.
Ings opened the scoring early on, his first goal since 2015, and despite a few nervy moments, the points looked secure when Salah got his 31st league goal of the season with a wonderful dinked finish.
However, the Reds were let down by a combination of terrible refereeing and poor defending and ultimately, they had to settle for a point.
