Long-term Liverpool target Max Meyer has agreed terms to join Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, according to the Mirror.
The report claims that Meyer will turn down interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool to remain in Germany.
Meyer had fallen out of favour with Schalke after a number of public disputes with the club.
The player is out of contract this summer and has been unable to agree on fresh terms, despite Schalke trying their best to keep the player.
Despite an impressive first half of the season under Domenico Tedesco, Meyer endured a turbulent end to the season. He was banished from training sessions and went public with his feelings towards club officials.
Meyer has been one of the many young players threatening to break through in the Bundesliga of late but is yet to really fulfil his potential.
Many have claimed that money is behind Meyer’s decision to move, something that he strongly denies.
