Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen on giving Jan Oblak a new contract, to raise his release clause to €200m, which doubles its current value, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Liverpool are very keen on Oblak, with Jurgen Klopp seeing the goalkeeping position as a priority over the summer transfer window, with Simon Mignolet wanting to leave Anfield and Loris Karius making errors in the UEFA Champions League Final.
The Reds have been linked with Oblak as well as Alisson from AS Roma. However, Arsenal are also keen on bringing Oblak to England, with the Gunners wanting to replace Petr Cech as number one.

Oblak was a crucial part of the Europa League winning squad this season, performing excellently, especially in the semi-final against Arsenal.
Liverpool are not keen on spending the €100m release clause in Oblak’s current contract in Madrid, and so if he does sign an extension, then it will all but definitely price Liverpool out.
This will mean looking elsewhere to Alisson at Roma or even at other candidates for the Liverpool number one spot.
