Roberto Firmino has said that he has spoken to fellow countryman and AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson about the possibility of the Brazilian making a switch to Anfield, as per The Liverpool Echo.
Alisson, along with Atleitco Madrid number one Jan Oblak, has been heavily linked to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, with Simon Mignolet wanting to leave and Loris Karius under intense pressure following his two mistakes in the UEFA Champions League final.
Alisson has been very impressive for Roma, who made it to the semi-final of the competition this season, losing narrowly 7-6 to the Reds on aggregate.

The Liverpool striker said recently about Alisson:
Yes, he asked me about Liverpool and I hope he can come here, but I know he has other proposals. From time to time, I will give him a pinch to come to Liverpool and help us, but it’s with his agents. It wouldn’t be bad if he came to Liverpool.
Roma are keen on not selling another player for a bargain, like they did with Mohamed Salah last summer, and are reportedly only willing to sell Alison for around £70m.
