Liverpool could face competition in their pursuit of Lazio’s Thomas Strakosha, with Leverkusen beginning to take a look at the Albanian according to Corriere Dello Sport.
The Italian outlet, via inside futbol, reports that Leverkusen are taking a look at the goalkeeper amid rumours Bernd Leno could depart the German side after interest from several top European sides.
The German side are reportedly set to make a €30 million offer for the goalkeeper, who has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield to solve Liverpool’s issues at goalkeeper.
Strakosha has impressed at Lazio, and several top European sides are taking a look at the Albanian.
Lazio were not planning to sell the goalkeeper. However, a big offer could tempt their hand and allow the player to leave.
Leverkusen have already signed Lukas Hradecky to help their goalkeeping depth. However, they are seemingly not done and want Strakosha in their ranks.
