Cardiff keen on another loan deal for Grujic
Newly promoted Cardiff City are reportedly keen on taking midfielder Marko Grujic on loan again, after a successful spell last season.
The Serbian helped Cardiff to gain automatic promotion last season, with Neil Warnock’s side surpassing expectations and gaining promotion back to the Premier League.
Any potential move is dependent on talks between Grujic and Liverpool when the midfielder returns from the World Cup, according to BBC Sport. These talks will be soon after Serbia were eliminated last night.
The former Red Star Belgrade midfielder has made eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool since joining from Red Star Belgrade in a £5.1m deal in January 2016.
The Serbian was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing as Liverpool boss.
Cardiff have been busy getting new signings in as they look to stay in the Premier League. The Bluebirds signed Josh Murphy from Norwich, whilst also adding Alex Smithies from QPR and Bobby Reid from Bristol City.
