Former England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson has revealed that he has “always” been a Liverpool fan.
In an interview with Sky Sports Eriksson claimed that he had followed the Reds since a very young age, with his Father heavily influencing his choice.

Despite being out of management, Eriksson claimed he would still follow the Premier League closely this year, and offered a prediction for the eventual winner of the famous trophy.
I’ve always been a Liverpool fan. I can say that now, I couldn’t say that when I was in England but I was always since I was [young]. My father as well, he is 90, still a Liverpool fan.
But I still think [Manchester] City will win it.
England manager between 2001 and 2006, the Swede also managed Manchester City and Leicester City following his spell in charge of the national team.
The 70-year-old’s last job came in China, managing Shenzhen FC in the 2016-17 season.
Rejecting offers from the national teams of Cameroon and Iraq, it remains to be seen if Sven opts to continue his distinguished managerial career.
