David Beckham’s new MLS side Inter Miami could be targeting Liverpool’s James Milner as one of their first key signings, according to the Daily Mail.
Milner could be one of a number of key signings for the former Real Madrid and Manchester United stars’ new side in the MLS, who revealed their badge and name yesterday.
Beckham’s side will be called Club Internacional de Futbol Miami, and will join Major League Soccer in 2020 as the league continues to expand.
Other names Beckham is reportedly looking include Cristiano Ronaldo and Radamel Falcao, with Inter Miami looking for a marquee signing to attract interest in the franchise.
Milner could also potentially be a target for the new side according to the Mail, with the former Man City midfielder’s grasp of Spanish being helpful in the heavily Hispanic city.
However, Milner’s name could be down the list if Beckham is set on getting Ronaldo to make the move stateside.
