Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will be out for a month after picking up a calf injury in training, as per a report from the Liverpool Echo.
The teenager reportedly had a nasty collision with striker Divock Origi, one which led to him suffering a nasty cut to his calf.
As such, the 19-year-old will be sidelined for about four weeks, meaning Kamil Grabara will likely feature more regularly for the club’s U23 side.
Having sold Loris Karius, Liverpool promoted Kelleher to third choice and with Simon Mignolet not 100% fit after suffering a finger injury, the teenager could have been on Liverpool’s bench at Wembley this weekend if the Belgian suffered any further setback.
Liverpool expect Mignolet to be fit enough to be the backup option to Alisson for the game against Tottenham but if he’s not fit, Grabara will take his place on the substitute’s bench for the vital Premier League game.
