Bobby Adekanye limped out of Liverpool’s UEFA Youth League game with Napoli on Wednesday afternoon.
The young Reds were 1-0 up when the 19-year-old was taken off and was replaced by Luis Longstaff.
Adekanye had put the Reds 1-0 up just a few minutes before he was taken off as he finished well after a lovely pass from Curtis Jones.

With Rhian Brewster injured for the foreseeable future, Liverpool will be hoping that Adekanye is back in action sooner rather than later as they don’t want to be without two of their better-attacking players for too long.
Barry Lewtas will be keen for his side to make an impression in the competition after Steven Gerrard’s youngsters did the same last year, so he’ll be hoping Adekanye’s injury is not too serious.
At this time, there is no word as to what injury the Dutch youth international suffered but Liverpool will make that known in due course.
