Liverpool midfielder Naby Keïta trained this afternoon at Melwood, and could be set to feature on the bench against Manchester City on Sunday.
The 23-year old midfielder had looked likely to miss the Premier League clash at the weekend, after sustained a back injury against Napoli in the Reds’ Champions League tie on Wednesday.

Earlier today it was confirmed that Keïta’s doctors had given the Guinea international the all-clear to return to training, and now according to Mirror journalist David Maddock, Keïta was moving freely during his afternoon training session.

The former RB Leipzig man has been given the green light to join full training tomorrow, ahead of lining up on the bench at the weekend, with skipper Jordan Henderson expected to start, regardless of Keïta’s performance levels in training tomorrow.
